Dr George Alexander earned a B.A. in Modern History from Amherst College, Massachusetts, USA. He proceeded to London for postgraduate studies, earning a Masters and Ph.D. in Modern European History from Kings College, University of London.
His doctoral thesis was published as The Prelude to the Truman Doctrine: British Policy in Greece 1944-1947, by Oxford University Press.
Subsequently George lived in New York City. He lectured History at Queens College and delivered motivational speeches for the Napoleon Hill Foundation. He also
co-founded and managed National Search Inc., an executive search firm which placed senior managers in manufacturing and distribution firms across the United States.
George emigrated to Australia in 2003 and is now an Australian citizen. He teaches business studies at both the vocational and higher-ed levels at premier private colleges in Sydney. He also consults to private business.
Since arriving in Sydney, George also authored a 60-page monograph based on his
35 years studying the mindset of entrepreneurs: A Mind for Business - The Australian Entrepreneur. This book is now available as part of George's 'A Mind for Business' series of online lectures.
